Our Community Schools did it again! Families across the district were invited to a second food distribution this school year, where they received fresh produce like cucumbers, blackberries, asparagus, and bell peppers, thanks to the CalFresh Healthy Living team, along with food from our partners at Vista Community Clinic (VCC) and other donations.

Green Elementary students and teachers recently celebrated the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. through a variety of hands-on and heartfelt activities. Teachers across the school led lessons about Dr. King’s life and the values he stood for, giving students an opportunity to learn about respect, equality, and community.

Green School recently hosted a Technology and Online Safety Workshop in partnership with the Department of Mental Health as part of the district’s Community Schools initiative. The purpose of the workshop was to support families in navigating today’s digital landscape while promoting student well-being and safe technology use at home
